Creature Island is a band. There are three of us: Dennis Sheridan plays guitar and sings; Carlos Ramos plays the bass; and Andy Hurt plays the drums. We’ve played in a bunch of bands over the years, but our common tie (other than friendship) is that we played in a band called Follow the Train. The Train is asleep for the time being so we started getting together to make some music. It is impossible to describe your band’s music without sounding silly, but you would probably think that ours is a bit strange, a bit like pop and loud enough to rock but not too loud to ruin the songs. Ideally, you’ll like us.

We’re in the process of recording a self-produced album and hope to use this website to post our exploits as the process unfolds. We rarely come out of hiding from the Louisville, KY basement we play in, but not always by choice. Drop us a line if you want to book us.
